Overview
Sabre Surface Activator is at the same time: a cleaner, degreaser and primer. Sabre Surface Activator will activate non-porous surfaces, such as plastics, coatings, and metals for improved adhesion of sealants based on silicone, polyurethane and MS Polymers. Sabre Surface Activator is very easy to apply and flashes off quickly.

How to Use
- Method
Apply with a clean lint free cloth.
- Application
Apply in one direction use a lint-free cloth. Replace cloth regularly in order to avoid contamination of the surfaces. By doing so the surface is cleaned, degreased, and activated for the application of a sealant.
- Flash-off Time:
Leave to evaporate for 5-10 minutes. Apply sealant / adhesive no later than two hours after application.

Should I apply Sabre Surface Activator if the surface is heavily contaminated with dust, grease, swarf etc.?
This should be removed first with a suitable industrial cleaner such as IPA, Heptane, or Acetone prior to using Sabre Surface Activator.
What is the flash-off time?
5 minutes. Once the solvent has evaporated, a milky finish will be present on the surface, indicating that the solvent has completely flashed off.
Can Sabre Surface Activator be used on porous surfaces?
No, our Sabre Primer PX is recommended for porous surfaces.
