Overview
SabreBond SMP45 is a high grade, multipurpose adhesive and sealant based on silyl modified polymer (SMP) that boasts extremely high flexibility for demanding applications. This adhesive has been developed for primerless bonding of most construction materials including most metals, timber and most plastics. In addition, SabreBond SMP45 has high-performance mechanical properties and excellent UV performance in harsh climatic conditions. Notably, this chemically neutral adhesive does not contain isocyanates, silicone or solvents, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of applications.

How to use
- Surface preparation
Substrates to be clean of oil, dirt, contaminants and old sealant.

Prime porous concrete, timber, brick and stone with Sabre Primer PX. Prime critical nonporous surfaces, i.e. hi-nickel, stainless steel or bronze, with Sabre Surface Activator.
- Application Temperature
+10°C until +30°C
- Method
Manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
Mask joint edges. Cut nozzle end at 45° angle to the desired opening. Cut end from cylinder bung leaving the thread. Screw nozzle to bung thread. Place in cylinder applicator gun. Insert nozzle into joint, squeeze trigger and push gun in a forward direction – never pull backwards as air may be trapped in joint preventing a good seal. Remove masking before skinning.
