Overview

SabreFix LF is a gun-grade, high quality polyurethane expansion foam, with a unique low post expansion formula, lowering pressure on joint sides. The pressure on joint sides is two times lower than with regular PU foams. SabreFix LF has a very homogeneous dense structure and minimum post-expansion. It has good resistance to moisture and mould and achieves great results at low temperatures. The foam has very high adhesion properties and adheres well to most construction materials. The cured foam is an excellent temperature and sound insulator.

How to Use

  • Substrate Preparation

Ensure substrates are clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Priming is not required.

  • Application

Shake the new aerosol can for at least 20 seconds. Screw the nozzle firmly into place without pressing the trigger or the valve. The amount of expanding foam extruded can be regulated by applying more or less pressure on the trigger. Fill deep joints in several layers. Take care to allow each layer to cure and expand sufficiently by spraying water between each layer or allowing sufficient waiting time between the layers.

  • After Use

Keep a filled can of foam attached to the gun and the gun filled with foam. Failure to do so will result in the foam curing in the gun. Tighten the flow adjustment screw to prevent accidental discharge.

  • Cleaning

Clean all tools and application equipment immediately with Sabre FC Foam Cleaner. Once cured, residual material can only be removed mechanically.
