Overview
SabreBond SMP54 is a high quality, solvent free, single component joint sealant with high adhesive strength, developed for sealing and bonding applications in automotive, commercial vehicle, and mass transportation applications. It is very easy to extrude and tool up, has high specific adhesion, does not shrink on cure and has high UV resistance.
SabreBond SMP54 has been developed for structural elastic bonding applications in the automotive, bus, caravan, marine, train and aerospace industries. It has an excellent primerless adhesion range across a wide range of metals, composites, painted surfaces, and many plastics, and has very good overpaintability characteristics

How to use
- Method
Manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
- Application Temperature
+10°C until +30°C
- Substrate Preparation
Ensure substrates are clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
- Priming
When bonding, Sabre Surface Activator may be used on non-porous surfaces.
We recommend preliminary compatibility tests previous to application. - Tooling
Soapy solution before skin formation.
