Overview
Acralock SA10 is a two-component methacrylate structural adhesive series developed for permanent bonding of composites, metals and engineered plastics. It is designed for use in manufacturing and assembly environments where strength, durability and long-term performance are required.
SA10 provides strong adhesion across a wide range of substrates, including fibreglass, composites laminates, aluminium, steel, and engineered plastics. By distributing loads across the bonded area, it helps reduce stress concentrations compared to mechanical fastening methods, supporting lighter and more efficient assemblies.

Applications
- Bonding hull-to-deck joints and stringers
- Attaching bulkheads, stiffeners, and longitudinals to hull skins
- Bonding GRP/FRP, gelcoat, and composite panels
- Fitting hardware, brackets, and rub rails (often primerless to gelcoat and metals)
- Trailer panel-to-frame and floor bonding
- Bonding composite and FRP panels to steel/aluminium structures
- Bonding stiffeners, brackets, and reinforcements (replacing welds/rivets to reduce read-through and distortion)
