How to Use

  • Priming

Priming is not generally required as SabreSeal MS25 has excellent adhesion to most common construction materials.

  • Application

Apply SabreSeal MS25 out of the cartridge or sausage into the joint, ensure air is not trapped in the joint.

    Tool surface immediately before skinning

Remove masking tape immediately, before sealant has skinned off.

  • Painting

SabreSeal MS25 will accept most water-based paints – test for compatibility. For the best paint bond, apply promptly after sealant cure. Moving joints should not normally be painted as the sealant will be more flexible than the paint coating and can cause crazing of the painted joint surface.

  • Cleaning

Remove excess sealant immediately with Sabre CC Citrus Cleaner. Ensure surface is solvent resistant before cleaning. Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically.
